It’s the right thing to do.
We’ve come a long way from our early days. We now roast millions of pounds of coffee each year. That’s a lot of coffee packages. And that means millions of tin ties. We constantly assess how we can reduce our waste and be more sustainable. Ditching the tin tie is an obvious way we can work to improve our environmental impact. There are many ways to keep beans fresh once the package has been opened.
Chip clips, binder clips, heck, even re-using broccoli rubber bands. Jars or any other air-tight containers are also really great options!!
The tin tie isn’t necessary. So, we’re cutting ties, with the tin tie.
