Great news! Kicking Horse coffee adopted a Food Safety and Quality Management System ruled by FSSC 22000 and ISO 9001. The system has been developed in line with the related international technical standards and implies all those procedures and controls aiming at granting the complete food safety of all our Organic products.
Kicking Horse Coffee has extremely high-quality standards to ensure we mitigate the risk of mycotoxin exposure.
How do we do this? We intensively monitor our green beans, and our Quality Assurance Team regularly undertakes green bean analysis, roasted sampling and independent lab analysis. Our testing has always been negative to molds, bacteria or yeast.
Our coffee is hand-picked and carefully processed at the source. We regularly visit our farmers and their communities and work together to ensure quality standards are met.
